What is it?

Service of document copy request (articles of periodicals, theses, dissertations, parts of documents (chapters) and works presented at events) in other libraries of the country and abroad.

Switching fines

1) SCAD/BIREME

  • Getting copy in Brazil: R$ 5.00 every 20 pages.
  • Getting copy with urgency by email or FAX: R$ 15.00 every 20 pages.
  • Getting requests abroad (only in health area): check the table in the Reference and Training Sector in Umuarama Library.

2) COMUT/IBICT:

  • Getting copies in Brazil: R$ 2.20 every 5 pages / per article. User must fill in one of the forms according to the request.

The request budget will be sent by email, then the user must make payment by GRU and send the receipt by e-mail or submit it in the Section so the order will be arranged.

It is possible that the interested party makes the request directly in the COMUT and / or SCAD, without using the services of the library.

Autoatendimento COMUT / SCAD

O COMUT (Programa de Comutação Bibliográfica) é um serviço oferecido pelo IBICT (Instituto Brasileiro de Informação em Ciência e Tecnologia), que permite a obtenção de cópias de documentos técnico-científicos disponíveis nos acervos das principais bibliotecas brasileiras e em serviços de informação internacionais e segue a Lei de Direitos Autorais. Este serviço está disponível para pessoas físicas e jurídicas

  • Cadastre-se no COMUT.
  • Para AQUISIÇÃO DE BONUS é necessário estar previamente cadastrado.
  • Para SOLICITAR CÓPIA DE DOCUMENTOS é necessário fazer o login com CPF e senha cadastrados
  • Pelo CCN (Catálogo Coletivo Nacional de Publicações Seriadas) é possível consultar o acervo de periódicos das bibliotecas conveniadas.
  •  O COMUT oferece também o serviço de busca monitorada para documentos não localizados no CCN. A busca é realizada no Brasil e no exterior, com o custo de 2 bônus, para busca no Brasil e 4 bônus, no exterior.

SCAD (Serviço Cooperativo de Acesso a Documentos) é um serviço coordenado pela BIREME (Centro Latino-Americano e do Caribe de Informação
em Ciências da Saúde, antiga Biblioteca Regional de Medicina) com a cooperação das bibliotecas integrantes da rede BVS (Biblioteca Virtual
de Saúde). É um serviço de fornecimento de documentos especializados em ciências da saúde, respeitando-se os direitos autorais.
